The locals in Xomdo Town, Lhorong County, Xizang Autonomous Region, have integrated elements of traditional Tibetan dances such as Reba and Guozhuang into the lion dance that was introduced to the area in earlier years, creating a performance form with both Han and Tibetan characteristics -- the Xomdo Lion Dance. In 2024, the dance was included in the Intangible Cultural Heritage List of the Xizang Autonomous Region.
