According to recent reports, infrared cameras have repeatedly captured images of the "king of the snow mountains" -- the snow leopard -- in the Nyangrain Valley and Togde Valley, both less than 10 kilometers from downtown Lhasa, as well as in the Mingzhuzeri area, the highest peak in Chengguan District.
