The Cultural Relics Bureau of the Xizang Autonomous Region announced on November 27 that 3,346 new cultural relics had been discovered across the region during the second work phase of the Fourth National Cultural Relic Census in Xizang. Among them, more than 500 new cultural relics were found in Xigaze, Shannan and Ngari; the Pengyongzhu rock paintings in Saga County, Xigaze City, located at an altitude of 5,303.8 meters, have been listed as the newly discovered cultural relic site with the highest altitude in China.
