Tenzin Palden, a young boy from Xizang, fell in love with Tibetan opera at the age of three and has been studying it ever since. For years, he has worked tirelessly to master the singing, instruments, and dance of Tibetan opera, achieving outstanding results. Among his many skills, he excels in playing the drum for Tibetan opera which known as the “sigu” , performing opening rhythms while singing at the same time. Thanks to his exceptional ability in both drumming and vocal performance, Tenzin Palden received the "Little Plum Blossom" award at the 29th China Youth Opera Festival at the end of 2025.
