Recently, "A Millennium of Porcelain Ties, Together Reflecting Mountains and Rivers: Exchanges, Interactions and Integration of the Chinese Nation in Xizang Porcelain Treasures" opened to the public at the Xizang Museum. The exhibition selects 120 fine pieces (sets) from handed-down porcelain of past dynasties, revealing that porcelain from the Central Plains flowed into Xizang for a thousand years without interruption. It is not only physical evidence of trade circulation, but also direct material evidence of the close ties between the central authorities and local Xizang and of mutual learning and coexistence among all ethnic cultures.
