Tibetan Medicine Ltd. will enlarge its medicinal herbs planting base in Tashigang Village of Lhasa’s Medrogungkar County, according to the company’s discussion with local planting households and department in charge this week.

During the discussion, workers from the company have brought traditional food for Tibetan New Year to each household, sent their greetings on Tibetan New Year and expressed their wish on long term cooperations.

The person in charge says the company will increase its investment in enlarging medicinal herbs planting base in the next 2-3 years. Moreover, in order to integrate with local needs for ecological protection, a large natural protecting zone for medicinal herbs planting will be constructed, too.

It is believed the project will be a new pillar of local economy.
