By the end of 2014, about 92.4% migrant workers in Tibet have signed labor contracts, according to the Human Resources and Social Security Hall of Tibet Autonomous Region.
In 2014, Tibet's human resources and social security system accepted 1025 cases of reports and complains. 53.976 million yuan RMB wages were recovered for workers and 6.0403 million yuan social insurance premiums were paid.
Supervised by labor security supervision organizations at all levels in Tibet in 2014, 9176 pieces of labor contracts were signed supplementally.
"Now, working in cities is the first choice for many migrant workers and protecting their rights is our main work," says Ma Xiangcun, director of the Human Resources and Social Security Hall of Tibet Autonomous Region.
