Under the country’s general requirement on all pharmaceutical wholesalers passing the certification of new GSP (Good Supply Practice) system by the end of 2015, and with the purpose of carrying forward the new GSP system within the whole Tibet Autonomous Region, the T.A.R. Food and Drug Administration has organized a promoting meeting among 26 local pharmaceutical wholesalers, Tibetan Medicine Review and Certification Center, and Tibet Drug and Cosmetics Regulation Office.

During the meeting, drug manufacturing enterprises’ GSP passing condition is informed. 2 pharmaceutical wholesalers who have already passed the new GSP certification shared their experience and others have discussed about their questions and schedules, and have signed the commitment letter on implementing the work on passing new GSP certification.

According to official statistics, among all 56 pharmaceutical wholesalers in the region, 31 of them have already passed the new GSP certification. Those who haven’t pass the new GSP certification by the end of 2015 will be deprived of their rights for pharmaceutical business activities.
