30 million provides higher education to the disabled

According to the Education Department of China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, the region has begun to implement the project of building secondary vocational education section at Lhasa Special School since 2014, to ensure disabled people in Tibet receiving better career training. This project will fill the blank of higher education among the disabled in Tibet.

Total construction scale of the secondary vocational education section in special school is 7000㎡ consisting of teachers training room in 2000㎡, labor skills training room in 3000㎡ and work-study base in 2000㎡. The total investment is 30 million yuan RMB including cost of recovery, experiment and training facilities.
