Since the year 2006 when People's Bank of China set up agricultural insurance business in Tibet Autonomous Region, the complete coverage of agricultural insurance in all 74 counties has been achieved in this year. According to report, the agricultural insurance in China’s Tibet includes plant insurance, aquaculture insurance, farmers and herdsmen housing insurance, agricultural motor vehicle insurance, and so on. The insured liability covers risk of frequent disasters and insurant covered people and companies that engaged in farming and animal husbandry production.
