According to the Forestry Department of Tibet Autonomous Region, Lhoka Prefecture positively promotes the production of forest seedlings. At present, 347000 seedlings have been introduced in and 185800 seedlings have been sprouted in this prefecture’s central nurseries.

In terms of introducing and breeding fine breeds, Lhoka Prefecture designedly introduces new breed, carries out pilot planting, speeds up breeding work, expands base scale and improves production ability. At the same time, 80 farmers and herdsmen are hired to implement the seedling planting work. More than 100 mu lands are ploughed and fertilized, and 56000 seedlings are planted.
