Recent days, as a new tourist souvenirs development company named Shenyu starts to run its business in Ngari Prefecture of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, number of tourist souvenirs development companies in Ngari Prefecture reaches 5 so far. More than 100 types of local tourist souvenirs are believed to further enrich Ngari’s tourist market and help local farmers and herdsmen increasing their income.

It is known that during these years, various departments at all levels in Ngari Prefecture spare no effort when engaged in allocating finance and human resource on tourist programs, which makes local tourist market developing in a positive direction. Ngari tourism infrastructures are obviously improved; scenic areas’ exploitation and construction begin to take shape as well.
