On June 1, 2015, China’s Tibet Power Grid realizes power transmission to Qinghai Province, with the maximum capacity of 100000 Kw according to official information. The green power of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, is believed to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide and make a positive contribution to national energy structure optimizing adjustment and air pollution control.

Tibet Power Grid’s success on electric power export marks green power of the region participating in optimizing and adjusting the balance of northwest electric power supply and the national energy structure, which will surely speed up the exploitation of Tibet’s green energy resources like water and electricity.
