Recently, cooperated with township government, grassroots public security stations, and the Industry & Commerce Administration, the Markam Food and Drug Administration has carried out the rural food safety inspection activity.
Centering on food production, circulation and catering, food stores, supermarkets and catering organizations are inspected comprehensively. Some items such as rice, flour, oil, meat and dairy products, which are closely related to the people's benefits, are checked extensively. Rural small supermarkets, small restaurants and farmer's markets are listed as key regulatory objects.
As for phenomenon such as unlicensed operation, counterfeit and shoddy products, and unbranded and dateless products by a nameless factory, they are seriously cracked down. In terms of illegal operation behaviors such as poor sanitation, expired health certificate and license, they are required to rectify within a time limit.
Through this inspection, rural food management behaviors are further regulated, which guarantees consumers’ rights and interests.
