Tibet revenue exceeded 9.6 bln in first half of 2015

It is acknowledged from the first half-year work conference of national tax system of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region held on July 8, 2015 that during first half of 2015, the tax revenue of the whole region has reached 9.647 billion Yuan, with a 19.8% increase on-year and 15.8 billion Yuan revenue increases. Excluding 5.34 million Yuan of the customs levy tax, the revenue of TAR Tax Revenue Department has come in at 9.594 billion Yuan, with a 20.9% increase on-year and 1.661 billion Yuan revenue increases, which has accomplished 50.03% of the annual plan.

According to the conference, the organization’s income situation is good in the first half of this year, showing the following characteristics. The first is the steady growth of tax revenue. The size of the income and the magnitude of increase all soar to record highs. Three levy units of Lhasa Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shannan Prefecture and Nyingchi City have achieved “double half”. The second is that the enterprise income tax and business tax sustain high-rapid growth, and arable land occupation tax, resource tax and stamp tax have outstanding performances. In the first half of the year, the total and incremental enterprise income taxes are the first among all taxes, playing an obvious supporting role. The third is that the central level tax revenue growth is slightly faster than the local level tax, basically realizing coordinated growth. The central and local level of tax revenues are 4.879 billion Yuan and 4.022 billion Yuan respectively, a 21.3% and 20.6% increase on-year, 0.856 billion Yuan and 0.805 billion Yuan revenue increases.
