On August 10, “Kite flying season, Tibetan kite creative culture exhibition” is held at Lhasa’s Public Art Center, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. It is acknowledged as the first kite-themed exhibition in Tibet.
According to the staff of Tibet Autonomous Region’s Public Art Center and exhibition planner Tashi Norbu, this exhibition is divided into five major areas, namely kite making area, kite exhibition area, collection exhibition area, kite works exhibition area and kite culture T-shirt exhibition. More than 200 kites are exhibited at the kite exhibition area.
