Under the kind concerns of the Central Party and the State Council as well as correct leadership of the District Party Committee and government, world-shaking changes have taken place in our region’s medical and health services since the establishment of Tibet Autonomous Region.

In recent years, Tibet has gradually established a medical and health services network with all necessary functions and facilities, a continuously growing health service team which is mainly made of Tibetans and other ethnic minorities, and the public health service system combined with Tibetan medicine and Western medicine.
