Lobsang Tashi, 43, lives in Barkhor Street of Lhasa, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Fascinated by ancient Tibetan houses, he always wants to combine the ancient houses with tourism industry.

Gradually, Lobsang Tashi realizes that reasonable development and utilization is a good way to protect ancient architectures. In 2009, he won 10 years right of use of the Lingt Sang Guesthouse through fierce competition. He invited Tibetan architectural experts and tradition craftsmen to restore the original look of the house. Now, Lingt Sang Guesthouse has become a model of Tibetan style hotel.

Lobsang Tashi is busy decorating another ancient Tibetan house, which will become his next hotel.
