On September 23, 2015, the vice-chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region’s government Dong Mingjun met in Foreign and Overseas Affairs Office of Tibet Autonomous Region with Nepal-China friendship youth delegation. 

At the beginning of this meeting, Dong Mingjun warmly welcomed the Nepal-China friendship youth delegation’s arrival. Then, he gave an introduction on Tibet’s current situation and development trends. He said that China and Nepal are both friends and neighbors. There are frequent youth exchanges between Nepal and China. Youth is the future of the country. 

Chairman of Nepal-China friendship youth delegation said that this is a crucial year for Tibet, and congratulations on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Tibet Autonomous Region. He also said that senior leaders of Nepal and China are all very good friends, so they will also keep this policy by their generation. People in the two countries have the same culture and the same religions. He did appreciate the help that China gave. Nepal has introduced a new constitution. It would open more trading ports.

On September 27, 2015, a get-together of outstanding youth of both Nepal-China friendship youth delegation and Tibet is held. Several performances are put on with an atmosphere of friendship and happiness.

The youth delegation from Nepal visited Lhasa and Shigatse, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, from September 22 to 28.
