Oct. 17 is Second National Poverty Alleviation Day as well as the 23th International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. On the morning of Oct. 17, more than 20 work units from poverty relief and development leading groups in Lhasa carry out various promotional activities, such as setting display board, giving out promotional materials, consulting and providing handy service for the public.
