It was reported that on Oct.25th, Lhasa’s second basketball tournament supported by Lhasa Party Committee, Lhasa government, Lhasa Education and Sports Bureau and Lhasa Cultural and Sports Center was held in basketball court of Lhasa Central Sport Stadium, Newu District of Lhasa, the capital of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. In addition, it is free to the public. 

This tournament, starting from Oct 25 to Dec 4, will be run in Lhasa Central Sport Stadium, youth center and Lhasa Third High School. Besides, the competition is divided into two stages, team stage and knockout stage. The first round , having 4 sections, was held on 15:00 of Oct 25th in Lhasa Central Sport Stadium. The two opposing teams are Lhasa Fourth Middle School team and Lhasa Municipal Propaganda Department team. In the end, Lhasa Fourth Middle School team was beat by Lhasa Municipal Propaganda Department team with the score of 59:66. However, the players from Lhasa Fourth Middle School team still have confidence in the following competitions.

The top three will be awarded gold, silver and bronze trophies respectively. The top eight will win price money.
