Tibet: Most of the 13 new kindergartens completed in Lhasa

At the time when children need to go to kindergarten every year, many parents get a headache facing the problem of “hard to go to kindergarten”. In order to let the children go to the nearer kindergarten from their family and exempt extra worries for the parents, Lhasa has been fully reinforcing public kindergartens constructions in recent years to make a public kindergarten service network with scientific layout, well-equipped facilities as well as safety and quality.

On Oct. 28, it is learned from the Chengguan District, Lhasa City Bureau of Education and Sports that so far most of the 13 new kindergartens have been completed this year and kindergarten facilities and teachers are under deployment successively. Next step, these kindergartens which can accommodate more than 5000 school-aged children will enrollment for the community.

According to the section chief of Pre-school Department, Chengguan District, Lhasa City Bureau of Education and Sports, most of the 13 kindergartens have been built, and at the time when all the 13 kindergartens are open, the problem of children “hard to go to kindergarten” will be effectively solved.
