Tibet's tax revenue achieves 16.91 billion yuan in first ten months

According to the Tibet Autonomous Region’s State Administration of Taxation, the tax revenue levied during the first ten months in Tibet accumulated to 16.911 billion yuan, up by 1.873 billion and 12.5% year-on-year.

The relevant director said as to the structure of the taxation contribution, several characteristics can be found as follows: firstly, tax revenue continues growing at double-digit rates. The tax revenues of the economic and technological development zones in Nyingchi and Lhasa, as well as three enterprises in Shigatse are relatively 1.36 billion yuan, 5.04 billion yuan and 0.93 billion yuan, up by 52%, 19% and 16% year-on-year. Secondly, the total tax revenue of the secondary industry is 3.479 billion yuan, up by 11.6% year-on-year. The tertiary industry’s tax revenue achieves 13.11 billion yuan, up by 13.1% year-on-year. The tax revenue of capital market service industry increases by 51.3% year-on-year, while the insurance industry increases by 42.6%. 

Thirdly, according to Tibet's local taxation authority, the tax revenues of state-owned companies and joint-stock companies grow faster. The tax revenue of state-owned companies is 0.79 billion yuan,up by 8.8% year-on-year. The tax revenue of joint-stock companies is 1.36 billion yuan,up by 19.3% year-on-year.
