Police in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region busted a drug trafficking case and captured two suspects earlier this month, the public security bureau in Lhasa, capital of the region, said last Wednesday.

The suspects, surnamed Ma and Ji, were arrested by police in downtown Lhasa on December 7 after Ji purchased drugs from Ma. A total of 350.36 grams of heroin and 50.9 grams of methamphetamine or "ice" were seized.

Ma's urine sample tested negative while Ji's tested positive for morphine, the police said.

Ma and Ji confessed to several drug sales. Ma is under criminal detention while Ji received administrative punishment.

The case is under further investigation.
