On January 19, 2016, villagers from Baiding Village of Lhasa, hold a ceremony for early spring in 2016 to embrace new hopes. According to the Tibetan traditions, local farmers, dressed in their holiday best, get together at the fields with their own “Qiema” to pray for one year’s harvest. It is reported that in 2015, the grain output in Tibet hits one million tons for the first time.
