Tibet plans to build "15-minute fitness circle" in urban communities this year. Fitness equipment will be completed in suitable old neighbourhoods. Besides, the coverage of fitness equipment in new communities will get 100% in 2016.
According to the National Fitness Development Plan, in 2020, Tibet will realize more than 80% of the qualified rate of urban and rural residents' physique. The per capita physical fitness zone will reach 1.8 square meters and there will be one physical director for every 700 people. The number of people who often take part in physical exercises will account for over 30% of the population in Tibet.
