Yigong Tibetan knife, an art banged thousands of times

With a history of nearly 400 years, the Yigong Tibetan knife is world-famous for its unique raw material and craftsmanship. The knife-blade of Yigong Tibetan knife is made of three kinds of iron which are produced on local mountains. Knife handle and its scabbard are made by wrapping the raw woods of Yigong primeval forest in the fish skins. Yigong Tibetan knives are different in their lengths, and the biggest characteristic is that these knives are long and thin, lightweight and sharp. It is not easy to rust as well. Nowadays, Yigong Tibetan knives have been hard to get, since a bladesmith can only make several Yigong Tibetan knives a month.
