It is reported that Science & Technology Association of Tibet Autonomous Region donates 35 3D printers to 35 middle schools in counties of Tibet and supports the scientific education in schools.

Lin Li, vice president of Tibet’s Science & Technology Association, said that this activity is one part of rural middle schools’ science & technology museums public welfare project. This project means to cultivate students’ scientific consciousness and enhance students’ scientific literacy, promoting the balanced development in education field.
The rural middle schools’ science & technology museums public welfare project includes scientific exhibits, digital science & technology museums, science books and other items. Currently, fifty eight middle schools in counties of Tibet have already had science & technology museums. With the construction of science & technology museums in Tibet’s rural schools, science education in Tibet has already been at the same starting line with schools of China’s other provinces.
