According to news from Lhasa Railway Station, Train Z6811 from Lhasa to Xining and Train Z6812 from Xining to Lhasa will be added in late June so as to meet the needs of tourists going to Tibet.

It is reported that the added Train Z6811 from Xining to Lhasa will start its first running at 20:15, June 25, 2016. Train Z6811 departuring at 16:15 from Lhasa will be added since June 26, 2016.  Besides, the run time of a single trip between Lhasa and Xining is about 22 hours.

After extra trains between Lhasa and Xining are added, there will be a total of six trains from Lhasa to Xining, namely Z918 (departuring at 8:50 everyday), Z166 (departuring at 11:15 everyday), Z266 (departuring at 12:45 everyday), Z22 (departuring at 15:30 everyday), Z6812 (departuring at 16:15 everyday) and Z224 (departuring at 18:30 everyday). Besides, trains from Xining to Lhasa shall include Z223 (departuring at 12:14 everyday), Z680` (departuring at 14:05 everyday), Z21 (departuring at 15:20 everyday), Z265 (departuring at 19:51 everyday), Z6811 (departuring at 20:15 everyday) and Z165 (departuring at 21:35 everyday). 

In 2015, Tibet received an accumulated total of over 20 million tourists, and the annual tourism revenue in Tibet totaled 28 billion yuan RMB. At present, a large number of tourists have come to Tibet to visit scenic spots like Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Yamdrok Lake, Mt. Qomolangma and so on. Moreover, the number of tourists coming to Tibet will be continuously increasing.
