Recently, all the projects of Lhasa-Nyingchi High-grade Highway Phase II are advancing in an orderly fashion. According to responsible person from China Railway 7th Bureau, so far, a total of 172 pile foundations have been casted, the area of excavation subgrade has been 190,000 square meters, and the general fill area has reached 260,000 square meters. It is said that the overall length of Lhasa-Nyingchi High-grade Highway phase II reconstruction project is 99.1 kilometers. It is predicted that this section will be open to traffic in 2017.
