Phuntsog Tashi: guardian angel of wild animals

At the Siling Co National Nature Reserve of Naqu Perfecture, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, 34-year-old Phuntsog Tashi guards and patrols for the lives that are at hatching period. With a total area of nearly 20,000 square kilometers and at an average elevation of over 4,500 meters, Siling Co National Nature Reserve is located at nothern Tibet's Changtang Grassland where lives various kinds of birds, Tibetan antelopes, Tibetan wild asses, Tibetan gazelles and so on.

In recent years, as all levels of conservation areas have been established one after anthor and farmers and herdsmen's protection consciousnesses are continuously strengthened, rare wild animals in Tibet have received effective protection.
