In order to accomplish the ancient city of Lhasa's application work for the world culture heritage, Lhasa Cultural Relics Bureau invests over eight million yuan RMB into the launch and formation of "Ancient City of Lhasa's Application for World Heritage List" and "Ancient City of Lhasa's Conservation Management Planning" etc. Besides, the build-up principles of "two musts" and "two cann’t changes" can keep the original features of the ancient city very well.
