According to Tibet Autonomous Region's Intangible Cultural Heritage Conservation Center, the second batch of assessment work for Intangible Culture Heritage Inherit Bases has been officially finished, which has lasted for one month. A total of 51 units and institutions including Tibet Autonomous Region's Library have been selected as Intangible Culture Heritage Inherit Bases.
According to Ngawang Tenzin, principal of Tibet Autonomous Region's Intangible Cultural Heritage Conservation Center, since the first batch of 33 institutions were selected as Intangible Culture Heritage Inherit Bases in 2012, numerous national and regional intangible culture heritage projects have been effectively protected and developed. Moreover, inherit bases have become signficant carriers of the orderly succession, exhibition and conservation of Tibet Automonous Region's intangible cultural heritages.
