After the office environment and check-out equipment etc. of Gyirong Port Joint Inspection Hall in Shigatse are fully upgraded and put into serivce, the speed of customs clearance is greatly improved.
Gyirong Port is located at Gyirong County, Shigatse, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, which is an important channel for China-Nepal border trade.
Affected by the 4.25 earthquake in 2015, the infrastructural facilities at Gyirong Port were seriously damaged and the customers' customs environment was infuenced as well. In order to fully reply to the port's further opening up, optimize customs environment, serve entry-exit personnel with high quality and promote the port's economic development, Management Committee of Gyirong Port has been further accelerating the post-disaster reconstruction of Joint Inspection Hall.
