On July 13, 2016, experts from West China Hospital of Stomatology come to the People's Hospital of Tibet Autonomous Region to offer free medical diagnosis to local people. Since 2000, West China Hospital of Stomatology Sichuan University has started to assist People's Hospital of Tibet Autonomous Region. Moreover, surgical teams are sent to the People’s Hospital of Tibet Autonomous Region to teach them to build their own surgical teams. In the past over ten years, a total of over 80 medical talents and management talents have been sent here. Besides, over 3,000 patients have been diagnosed and treated, over 300 teaching surgeries have been operated, and over 700 remote consultations have been done.
