Through the continuous clearance of second traffic detachment of armed police, K3503 section of Sichuan-Tibet Highway at Markam County completely reopens to normal traffic at 12:00, July 27, 2016.

On July 27, 2016, affected by heavy rainfall, several large-sized landslides along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway happened at Markam County, Qamdo, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
After the disaster happened, the second traffic detachment of armed police rapidly launched the emergency rescue preplan as well as rushed to the scene.
