Recently, the central heating system in Shiquanhe Town, Ngari Prefecture has started operation.

This project is a livelihood project. With an investment of 1.77 billion yuan, the construction period is planed to be 48 months. By the end of October, 1.383 billion yuan has been invested, overfulfilling the annual goal. At present, among 37 communities that need the installation of heating equipment, 19 have been completed. Heating conditions of the first heat transfer station are basically available. On Oct. 29, a operational testing was carried out successfully in a middle school in Ngari Prefecture.

According to the principle of regional division, the priority of heating supply is given to key areas with concentrated livelihood units.
