According to the Housing and Construction Department of Tibet Autonomous Region, Tibet plans to arrange 34106 items of township affordable housing projects in 2016.

By the end of November, all these housing projects have started construction and the investment has totaled 1.067 billion yuan.

In 2016, there are 2614 newly-built relocation housing projects in prefectures (cities) and counties (districts) in Tibet and all of them have started construction. Now the investment has reached 397 million yuan. While the investment of continued projects in 2015 is 1.48 billion yuan. Main project construction has been basically completed for 17435 sets of houses. On the whole, Tibet's housing projects are carried out smoothly and achieve the goal of full-scale construction.

Recently, audit institutions at various levels in Tibet will conduct special and follow-up auditing for all kinds of township affordable housing projects in 2016. Relevant departments are required to cooperate with audit institutions' work, so as to ensure all data submitted are accurate and conclusion conforms to the actual situation.
