Tibet enjoys the abundant solar energy resources, with an average over 3,000 hours of sunlight every year. In recent years, Tibet has taken a series of measures to encourage low-carbon and energy-saving life. New energy taxis, solar energy-saving lights and solar photovoltaic projects are widely used in Tibet, playing an important role in Tibet's ecological environment conservation and energy saving.
