On December 24, 2016, Tibet's First Session of Football Invitational Tournament started at Lhasa Stadium. A total of eight teams from six prefectures and cities in Tibet start their competition for a period of seven days. During the first match, Lhasa team found their rhythm to beat Nyingchi Team 2-0.
