Lhozhag County, subordinated to Shannan, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, is one of the border counties in Tibet. With an altitude of 7,538 meters, it is located at the south of Himalaya Mountain, and its lowest altitude is about 2,740 meters high. In recent years, as the living standard and level of inhabitants at this place have been increasing continuously, Shannan has not only put the people benefiting policies into practice, but also implemented the improve policy on subsidies of inhabitants at border area. The subsidy standard of inhabitants at border area has been improved from RMB 1,700 yuan per person per year to RMB 2,900 yuan per person per year.
