Nyinchi Children's Welfare Home is the only municipal organization in Nyinchi City that adopts orphaned and disabled children and it has been officially put into operation since Feb, 2016. At present, it has adopted 415 orphaned and disabled children including 115 children from Chamdo City.

Since the 8th batch of aid-Tibet working crew of Guangdong Province has come to Tibet in July, 2016, through raising funds from the public, they established the poverty alleviation fund, which helps the children's welfare home to improve infrastructure construction and create more better conditions for children to study and live.
