In 2017, the per capita disposable income of rural residents in Chamdo City is expected to be 9324 yuan, up 87.9% from 4962 yuan in 2012. The crop sown area is increased from 805,000 mu in 2012 to 860,800 mu in 2017.
With the development of agriculture and animal husbandry, the lives of local farmers and herdsmen have changed dramatically.
In recent years, based on rich resources and regional advantages, Chamdo City has focused on developing the real economy, such as the five breeding bases and seven planting bases. Therefore, a series of characteristic industries are developed.
