Local cooperatives in Tibet aid poverty alleviation

Established in 2009, the Kongpo farmers’transport cooperative of Bayi District, Nyingchi City is mainly engaged in agricultural products, local specialty, and building materials transportation. At present, the fixed assets of this cooperative can reach 83.95 million yuan. With the expansion of operation scale and the increase of economic benefits, the cooperative often donates money and clothes to low income families.
