The development of national handicraft industry in Riwoche County, Qamdo of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, boosts the economic growth and creates more jobs. More than 200 farmers and herdsmen attended free training classes held by a national handicraft company located in a industrial park of Riwoche County. Today, most of trainees have already been lifted out of poverty through the handicraft they learned in the company.
