Shigatse, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, has implemented the grain safety strategy, regarding the growth of yield of highland barely as main task.  This will form a complete production, business and industrial system of highland barely. Thanks to the expanding scale, increasing production capacity and output, and guarantee of quality, highland barely achieved great harvest. The output of highland barely reached 384,800 tons in 2017, registering an increase of 43,700 tons.
