During the National Day holiday this year, a total of 978 flights took off and landed in Tibet, with a passenger throughput of 116,241 personnel and a cargo and mail throughput of 774.4 tons, respectively increasing by 7.5%, 17.8% and 18.3% year on year. The air traffic volume hit a new high.

To ensure the safe and orderly operation of airports in Tibet, as well as to ensure that passengers have a safe and peaceful National Day holiday, relevant departments of Tibet's civil aviation strictly implemented the deployment on safety work and transport requirements, carried out the special inspection, and perfected the operating mechanism, so as to improve the flight punctuality rate, enhance the overall coordination and support capability, and ensure the safe, smooth and ordered air transport.
