Bainang County of Xigaze City has the largest vegetable planting base in Tibet Autonomous Region. 1.586 billion yuan is planed to be invested in building a 10,000-mu greenhouse vegetable industrial park, which is expected to achieve a vegetable production capacity of more than 500 million jin (1 kg=2 jin) by 2020, solving the vegetable issue for people on the plateau.
