Since this year, according to the requirements of the party committee of Tibet Autonomous Region and Lhasa City, Lhasa City has made positive progress in changing employment concepts, providing employment platforms, optimizing employment structure and improving the quality of employment. In 2018, there were 4,676 college graduates in Lhasa City, 3,761 of whom had been employed, with the employment rate reaching 80.43%.

To promote the work in employment and entrepreneurship of college graduates, Lhasa City issued a series of policies to make arrangements for this work at the beginning of this year.

Since this year, Lhasa City has invested more than 8 million yuan, run over 3,000 advertisements, produced and distributed more than 75,000 publicity materials, and interpreted relevant policies for more than 15,000 person-times, which have further changed the employment concept of college graduates.

Besides, Lhasa City has also set up various employment and entrepreneurship platforms, and constantly improved the construction of hardware facilities for entrepreneurship to provide services for college graduates to find jobs and start up businesses. At present, 32 employment and entrepreneurship service platforms have been set up, and the "internet + entrepreneurship and innovation" public service platform has been built and put into operation to provide business information for entrepreneurs.

Aiming at encouraging college graduates to start their own businesses, Lhasa City has allocated 112 million yuan this year to set up four fund pools including the guarantee fund for college graduates to expand the channels of investment and financing. At present, 40 entrepreneurs of college graduates have been offered guaranteed loans.

Compared with previous years, the recruitment scale of college graduates in Lhasa City is unprecedented. Up to now, a total of 46 recruitment activities have been held, and more than 1,950 enterprises have provided 54,914 jobs, of which 45,835 jobs have been provided for college graduates.
