On November 28, the integrated highland barley processing line of Dechen 3900 Highland Barley Intensive Processing Industrial Park (phase I) of Shigatse City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region，with an annual output of 40,000 tons, was officially put into operation.

With a total investment of 823 million yuan, Dechen 3900 Highland Barley Intensive Processing Industrial Park covers a total land area of 146 mu(1 acre= 6.0702846 mu). It mainly consists of a highland barley rice comprehensive processing production line with an annual output of 40,000 tons, a highland barley craft beer production line with an annual output of 20,000 tons, a highland barley composite enzyme comprehensive deep processing production line with an annual output of 2,000 tons as well as a forage processing production line with an annual output of 200,000 tons. The park adopts the production mode of "science and technology + enterprises + farmers", carries out targeted poverty alleviation through "poverty alleviation dividend + labor income + order income + social assistance", and provides 360 new jobs for the local people, which increase the monthly income of poor households who establish card for archives by more than 3000 yuan. In addition, the park has signed" enclave economic cooperation agreements" with Ngangring County and Dingri County respectively, which has provided poverty alleviation funds for them, and led over 2,000 poor households in the two counties to lift themselves out of poverty and increase their incomes through the industry.

Zhang Xuebin, chairman of Dechen 3900 Manor Co., Ltd. of Sangzhuzi District says that Tibet is an important agricultural product base with plateau characteristics, and highland barley is the main grain crop in Tibet.
